The Greensville Correctional Center (GRCC) is located in Jarratt, VA and is the largest prison in the Commonwealth of Virginia. There are three housing units, S-1, S-2 and S-3, all of which are equivalent to a normal prison elsewhere in the Commonwealth. Each unit houses approximately 1000 residents and are classified as a level 3 institution. In 2002, the Kairos prison ministry started in S-2 with team members from all regions of the Commonwealth. In 2006, at Kairos No. 9, several of the graduating residents proclaimed a prophetic message when they called the institution the "Greensville Christian Center". God has clearly honored the commitment of the founding team members and presently Kairos teams now serve in all three housing units. For the convenience of the team and to minimize travel, each unit is served by teams from the following geographic regions:
